St.Johns College, St Melons

A new two-storey structure at St. Johns 6th Form College in St Melons. This project  

consisted of a steel frame main structure with a glass facade incorporated up to first

floor level. Jehu Group were the main contractors on this project, and Boyes Rees

were the Architects.

Brynsierfel Primary School

A crescent shaped, split level replacement complex in Llaneli, for Carmarthanshire

County Council, with multiple reinforced concrete retaining structures both internally

and externally. The building design comprised of a structural steel frame and concrete

filled steel frame with concrete filled steel decking to the upper floors, with an

insulated standing roof.


Cardiff High School

Construction of a two storey educational extension and associated external works and

drainage. Consisting of a steel framed structure with metal decking on the first floor,

and built-up cladding system to the roof.


Pendoylan School

Construction of a steel framed multi classroom and child welfare facility extension, 

located behind the existing school. Provision for a new car-park and school bus drop-

off point. Upgrading of the existing highway within the village, in conjunction with the

Forge Fach, Clydach

Construction of a £2 million two-storey community resource centre for the Clydach    

development trust. The Architects were Stride Treglown Davies and Midas

construction were the main contractors.
