Data Centre, Wiltshire
The SQ17 Data Centre building was designed to accommodate two storeys of data halls
and three storeys of office and meeting rooms. Externally a basement level car park
and loading area were provided along with new access roads. Constructed in
association with Hale Architects and H.Sweet and Sons as main contractors.
Extension to the existing pharmaceutical warehouse. The project consisted of a new
56m long building with a series of 33m spanning portal frames at 10m high. The
external works consisted of a new 250m long access road along with new marshalling
yard and loading areas.
Firehall & Medical Centre
Provision of a new eight bay fire emergency response centre and two storey medical
centre. A new helipad, yard area and highway network were also established at the
Pembrokeshire refinery. This building is currently the largest firehall in Wales. EPT
Partnership were the architects and Dawnus were the contractors.
Hirwaun Fire Station
New build fire station for South Wales Fire Service. Was erected in the courtyard of the
original station allowing the fire service to have a continuous presence during
construction period. The super-structure comprises of a number of interconnected steel

The provision for the design of a rope training tower and high level training platform
around the existing brickwork fire training tower. South Wales fire service were the
Treforest Industrial Estate
A 17,000 sq.ft warehouse for a high street white goods supplier. A steel portal
frame building with composite cladding system was erected on concrete pad and
strip foundation solution following vibro-replacement ground improvement works.
Tondu Waste Transfer Station
Designed for Bridgend County Borough Council working in conjunction with Rhys
Davies Services the developer, CLC Design were the architects and Andrew Scott
was the main contractor. This £2 million new waste transfer facility was completed
Oil Refinery, Pembroke Dock, West Wales
A £3.5 million new stores building for Chevron Oil Refinery. Consisting of a 60 x 55m
steel frame unit with curved cellular rafter members providing a 9m high stores area
and two storey internal office space.
